I have to admit to being a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to my bike: I still haven’t actually taken it out on a proper ride.
Or a ride at all, for that matter. It’s probably something to do with the fact that the last time I went for a real bike ride, I was about 12-years-old, and we were in Haggerston Castle (down near Newcastle-upon-Tyne) for our summer holidays, and I could still, y’know, remember how to ride a bike.
The good news is that I haven’t given up: the bike is still in my possession. It’s just waiting for me to become a little more brave, and to get onto the seat and the pedals at the same time…
For the rest of y’all, however, don’t let something like that stop you. You’ve got the chance to do something spectacular, because Halfords have got a new range of Boardman bikes coming out at the end of January, and they’re giving away three bikes: two, to their first place winner – and a friend- who will also get the chance to go on a ride-out with OLYMPIC GOLD-MEDALIST (and yellow-jersey-wearer of the Tour de France) Chris Boardman, the inspiration behind the Boardman Bikes range for Halfords, to put their bikes through their paces; the third bike, signed by Chris, to the second place winner; the runner-up will receive a signed Boardman Bikes cycle jersey.
What do you need to do to get your hands on one of these prizes? Head over to the sign-up page, put in your details, and then wait to find out if you’re one of the lucky winners! It’s that simple. Doesn’t cost you a penny (although, as always, terms and conditions apply) to enter!
So what are you all waiting for? Get on your bikes, and fill in that form! You could be the lucky winner!
While I have been compensated for this post, it was more than a pleasure to write it; as a happy bike-owner, and a lover of Spinfit (even if I’m not currently an active participant of either!), I would have probably entered the competition, and written about it, if I’d happened to see the post by myself.
That said: I was compensated to write this particular post, but it has in no way affected any of my views or opinions, etc. None of the links in this post are affiliate links; the sidebars, as always, do contain affiliate links.
