What happened to, “This is gonna be the year that I lose the weight!”

Oy.

Moving out sucks.

This was one of those weeks where I ran out of pretty much every fresh item in my house and had to resort to pulling out the breaded chicken in my freezer because I hadn’t remembered to defrost something, because we’d been due to go bowling.

(We did go bowling. I had leftovers in the ‘fridge, but they were for Friday, and if I didn’t leave them for Friday, I’d need to make the breaded chicken for Friday.)

At least, this week, I get to go shopping. I need to make sure that I get plenty of those smoked haddock fillets from Aldi that I love, or get Mum & Dad to take me to Farmfoods, because they’ve got a great deal on them.

I’ll spend tonight getting my meal plan made up again – I’m gonna make that maple syrup chicken again, because that was delicious – but I’m not sure what else. I was gonna go Atkins, but I think I’m gonna wait until I have more money. I am gonna do it at some point, but I just can’t afford it right now. Can’t afford the amount of meat I’m gonna need, or the amount of vegetables I’m gonna need.

So right now, I’m just gonna eat healthily, try to watch my carb intake… and hope that these numbers do something positive, soon.

I turn 29 in 4 days. I don’t wanna still be like this when I turn 30.

  1. Cmon Tracy! You've done so well, now you just need to push a bit more – we all (I'm sure) want to keep seeing those pictures growing smaller and seeing how happy you are. Keep it up! You can do it!
