The Zero Scale: 15% Off Coupon; And In Which Fatso Takes Some Photos

First off: I apologise to everyone visiting the site today/in the next few days. I’ve been tweaking things, and the layout has just not been playing nicely AT ALL.

Hopefully I’ll have a nice, fully-functional layout before the weekend’s over. I’m still working on it.

Rich, the President of Great Valley Innovations, the makers of The Zero Scale, emailed me today with (among other things), the discount coupon for our readers.

I’ve already posted our exercise routine for you to follow along with me if you want, and although I’ve not been very forthcoming on what I’m eating, it’s “basically” Paleo.

(I’m not being entirely strict on it, but it’s difficult, living in Scotland and trying to find some of the things you need. Which is really strange, considering how much farmland there is here.)

ANYWAY.

If y’all want to buy a Zero Scale, and I’d definitely recommend it to all and sundry, all you have to do is go to http://www.thezeroscale.com/, and in the “Promo Code” box (shown below) and hit “update total” before inputting your personal details and checking out with your 15% discount!

The “ZERO” 15% off discount code is valid until December 23, 2011.

Now, as I’ve said, I would absolutely recommend The Zero Scale to all and sundry. Not seeing my weight on the scale is a huge factor in how well I feel I’m doing this week. Seeing “-11lbs” has really spurred me on, knowing that I’ve done that well.

One thing I would say, however: try not to use it on a carpeted floor! It’s not keen on carpeted floors. ๐Ÿ™‚ Solid wood, tiled, whatever. It doesn’t like carpets. It takes a good couple of attempts to weigh yourself on carpets, but it WILL, eventually. It’s my only nitpick.

But it’s a really excellent scale. I’m so pleased with it, and I’m so thrilled to be part of this challenge, as you might be able to tell by how much I keep talking about it when I post. *laughs*

So yeah.

I took photos on Monday. I’m going to take photos EVERY Monday, to kind of… track progress. Unfortunately, they were taken after I got home from the gym, because I looked more presentable then, as opposed to Monday MORNING, when I looked an absolute wreck.

So here are my Week One Progress Photos:

I think I look bigger than I did at 349lbs, but I was also CLOTHED in my 349lbs progress photos.

I think I’m gonna do ALL of my progress photos like this from now on, as much as I dislike doing them like this. It’s the only way to truly see how different I look.

You can see me like this.

And yes, in that first photo, my Mutant Leg is getting REALLY bad again.

I received The Zero Scale and The Zero Scale Pedometer for free in exchange for taking part in The Zero Excuses Weight Loss Challenge, and posting on FATGIRLslim.org with my review and experiences of the product. 1. Glad I can read it now too! Kudos for you on putting yourself out there – so proud of you! Keep up the great work! I slacked this week big time – my boss is going to trial and its been 10, 12 and today maybe a 17 hour work day – not much leftover time (or energy!) to get the workouts in, hope after next week it will calm down and I can focus on me again! Have a great weekend!

    1. Having Me Time is so important when you're doing something like this – I'm sorry you're not having much; or, indeed, any! I'm "lucky" in that I'm a Professional Unemployed Bum by this stage, and I can fit my workouts in around studying long-distance, blogging, sleeping, occasionally taking a turn at cooking, and shopping for groceries when needs be.

I hope your schedule sorts itself out soon so you can focus on yourself, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy your weekend!
