Simply Supplements‘ SimplyBest ™ Burnoff ™ Weight Loss Supplement includes an ingredient called “sinetrol”, which is a 100% natural citrus fruit extract. It’s supposed to help increase reduction of abdominal fat, hip size and waist size, according to the Burnoff page, which states its findings from “a recent study”, but doesn’t link the study.
It’s aimed specifically at those of us with a sedentary lifestyle, which is why I chose this one to try out – I was given a choice, of which supplement I wanted to try out, and given that this one is marketed towards people with sedentary lifestyles, I figured it’d be the best idea for me.
While using the SimplyBest ™ Burnoff ™ Weight Loss Supplement, I didn’t feel any side effects. I took my two tablets per day (one in the morning with breakfast; one before lunchtime) and that was that. I didn’t notice any weird drymouth, I didn’t get extra-hungry, and I didn’t notice myself feeling any extra energy (although there was no ingredients listed other than the sinetrol, so I’m assuming there was no caffeine, etc, so that’s not so strange).
Before / After
I started using SimplyBest ™ Burnoff ™ Weight Loss Supplement just after Christmas, and finished halfway through January (and then couldn’t find out where the heck I’d put my photographs, which is why the review is so bloomin’ late – my sincerest apologies to Cassandra and the good people at Simply Supplements! – and during this time I didn’t actually weigh myself.
I was, however, taking note of my measurements specifically for the results of the review.
- Neck: 16″
- Upper arm: 18.5″
- Bust: 60.5″
- Bra band: 54.5″
- Waist: 65″
- Hips: 70.5″
- Upper thigh: 34.5″
- Neck: 15.5″ (-0.5″)
- Upper arm: 18.5″
- Bust: 60″ (-0.5″)
- Bra band: 54.5″
- Waist: 64.5″ (-0.5″)
- Hips: 70″ (-0.5″)
- Upper thigh: 35″ (+0.5″)
I’m going to go ahead and discard the +0.5″ for the upper thigh, and assume that I didn’t measure that correctly, or that it was, in fact, a +0.5″ month, but I’ve still got an overall minus elsewhere, which is what matters.
Now, just so we’re clear: I was not “dieting” this month. Since December, I’ve been “mindfully eating”, which means that I’ve been eating whatever I want, when my body’s hungry. I’ve been paying attention to food when I’m eating it, and I’m stopping eating when I’m full.
It hasn’t been doing me a lot of good so far, but what it has been doing is stopping binge-eating, which is a huge step up in my eyes.
But what I mean to say is that I didn’t change my diet. I didn’t suddenly go and start a crazy exercise routine. Hell, I didn’t even manage to get started on going my little walks like I’d planned.
And my body still managed to shrink by 1.5″ or 2″?
Overall, I’d have to say I wasn’t extremely impressed with SimplyBest ™ Burnoff ™ Weight Loss Supplement, but I was impressed enough that I’d consider including it in a supplement intake in future, if I had the money to do so. It seemed to do something – I’m not sure what! – to help me lose an inch or two.
There were no icky side effects; no ups and downs of moods. No dry mouth and no tiredness. I didn’t have any side effects when I stopped taking them, either, which is also a really good thing.
I’d be more than happy to have been able to continue taking them, to see if maybe long-term use would have improved the results any. (Alas, I am unemployed and poor.)
