In Which Fatso Has Her Cake (And Eats It Too)

Today is my 27th birthday. I did NOT go to the gym, as I had originally planned, because I went to Spinning class yesterday, and really, today, it’s hard enough just to sit on hard surfaces. 🙂

I did, however, go to my Weight Watchers class, where I had a minor heart attack because of my own daftness.

See, for some reason, I had convinced myself that I weighed 28st something last week, when, in fact, I totally didn’t. Of course I weighed 29st something last week, so when I stood on the scales this week and saw

-5lb (-2.27kg)
263lbs (119.29kg) to go

I sort of went, “OH GOD I HAVE GAINED 8lbs HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?”

Of course, I had actually left the meeting last week weighing 29st 6lbs, which means that I lost 4lbs this week.

Let me repeat that:

I lost 4lbs this week!

I even had a slice of birthday cake earlier. Of course, I hadn’t eaten my dinner yet, but that’s okay.

Because I lost 4lbs this week!

Linda, my big sister, finally broke through her plateau and lost 3.5lbs this week, and Mum is still having trouble, and gained 1lb this week, so if you could send all your good weight-loss-y thoughts to us all, I’d be most grateful.

I’m going to nip down to ASDA tonight because I need to pick up more cereal and soup (and cold meats) and I’m going to nip upstairs to see if they have the gel seat cover available in store. I know they USED to have them.

But yeah, I definitely need one if I want to get through Spinning again, which I definitely DO want to do again.
