I’m feeling much better now, re: those pains in my spine. I didn’t go see my doctor for a change. Just took a wee rest period from Spinning, which seemed to jolt my back a lot, and the swimming seemed to help, because it didn’t put any pressure on my back.
But I’m going back to my “usual” routine now: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Spinfit classes, and Tuesday Zumba.
I was supposed to be going into the gym after Spinfit tonight, but I had a pork roast in the slow cooker, and wanted to get home and get it out and shredded.
(Mmm, the difference it makes, marinading the roast in the liquid smoke instead of just cooking it in it. *makes Homer Simpson Noises*)
Sorry, got distracted for a moment because a massive spider just ran past my foot, and behind my desk, AND I CAN’T FIND IT NOW OH GOD IT’S GOING TO EAT ME IN MY SLEEP.
OH GOD IT WAS SCUTTLING AROUND MY LIVING ROOM AND IT WAS BIG ENOUGH THAT IT MADE A POLYTHENE BAG ON MY FLOOR CRINKLE WHEN IT RAN PAST IT AND OH GOD
It’s now an ex-spider. It ran under my couches. I chased it out. I HIT IT WITH A FUCKING SHOE and now I’ve got spider guts on my nice, pink carpet.
Back on track:
I’ll be going to the gym after my Wednesday and Friday night classes – Tuesdays, I either go to my parents’ place or I go shopping for my groceries, so there’s usually no time for me to go to the gym after Zumba.
But I’ll feel better for it, even if it’s only two nights a week. I can do my arms one night, do my legs the next night.
I’ll feel better for it in the end.
Hell, I finished my Spinfit class tonight, and I already felt better, just from that.
Fingers crossed my back plays nice with me.Let's get social:
